BURYING FEMINIST THEORY

The time of feminism is over.

What remains? Do we still need it? Where would we be without it today?

The performance:

MP Warming decided to bury her female literature in her back yard. For that she hollowed out a pit.

I had the audience writing down their wishes on pieces of paper.

Together with those wishes MP was sewing me into a large green sack.

I then danced in the sack to the sound of a tuba in the light of the fire and the moon through the wet grass, before I let myself roll into the pit where the books were waiting for me.

Together we buried the books, the wishes and the shell, also the sack.

Hopefully they grow, thrive and bear fruits!!!
