WS Free Dance

on October 24 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

 

For me, there’s nothing more healing and uplifting than moving together in a group and connecting nonverbally. This is especially true in times like these, when the power of words can sometimes get out of hand.

 

We’ll dive into our individual worlds of movement. During a warm-up, we’ll mobilize and explore our range of motion. We’ll engage with temporal and spatial conditions and prepare for dancing together. Through a series of exercises, we’ll lay the foundation for free improvisation, play, and the joy of simply being and connecting through shared dance.

 

Everyone is welcome. The only requirement is a willingness to involve.

 

Everyone comes as they are. Nothing is required; everything is possible.

The workshop takes place in the former stable of the Plateau Art and Culture Association.The stable has retained its original features, creating a very special atmosphere. Surrounded by nature, we incorporate the distinctive character of both the indoor and outdoor spaces—weather permitting—into our dance.

 

Please bring a warm blanket. And don’t forget to bring a snack for the break. We’ll provide water, tea, and coffee.

 

Basic lodging is available upon request.
